Progress on the garage/addition

It's slow coming, but it has come a looooong way. My husband is working on this MAJOR project with his brother and whoever will help, just as he has the time and money.
This picture is Bry with his brothers Troy and Chris sledge hammering up the little bit of cracked up driveway we did have. It did not go all the way up to the driveway so we could not drive in the garage, and it was just on half of the driveway.
This is after all the prep work was done, lots of work in little time. It was going to be to cold to do concrete the rest of winter so we had to get it done and they did all this work in just 2 nights.
and the concrete pouring begins.
Bryan had his brother Joey and some good friends the Grange's come help him place the concrete. We were SOOOO grateful for their help.
all done but still wet!!
This picture was the next day. It was SO windy and cold that tons of leaves were all over the driveway and it rained too... we got it done just in time.
Also in addition to a driveway... we have GARAGE DOORS. Also so nice to have when it got really cold and windy and snowed!!
This is what him and his brother Chris have been working on lately. That extension from the house will be the kitchen (the kitchen will be 4 feet longer) and the steps going upstairs will go to the addition of our house and the ones going down will be from the garage into the kitchen.
Before the stairs going up to the addition of the house
and after... they look SO good!!
I went upstairs for the first time this addition/garage has been built (I do not do ladders) I will have to take some pictures up there... it all looks SO amazing and I can't believe how much work Bryan has done.
The stairs going down. Chris built these with Griffin's help (I am sure he was good help) while Bryan was still at work.
Griffin came in and said "mom, come look what I built" I said "you mean what Uncle Chris built" and he said "no mom, I did them"
It is going to be so nice to park in the garage and come into the kitchen this way.
Griffin put check marks on all the stairs. After they were built, he said "I checked them and they are all good" and he LITERALLY checked them!!!
