We had such a wonderful Christmas. This year was so much fun with our 3 little ones. The boys came into our room about 9:30 with their stick ponies Santa had brought them and were jumping up and down yelling "Santa came, Santa came, presents, presents" We got sis and our cameras and headed down stairs. It actually took us about 2 hours to open presents. The boys would get so excited to open a present (and most took tools to open the packages) and would play with that present for awhile before wanting to open another. The boys both got Transformers which I think were their favorites. They have been pretending for months that all their cars and trucks are Transformers. Bry spent most of the morning "transforming" their toys. They are nothing like they were 20 years ago, which took 4 or 5 steps. NO these transformers had a booklet of instructions and it takes about 40 steps to transform. After our fun and long morning, we had breakfast/lunch and mom and Gavin took a nap. Most years we open presents and then take off to visit family so it was really nice to just stay home and relax an enjoy the day together.
Griffin playing with Optimus Prime and Gavin playing with Iron Man
Gavin playing with his Megatron. He is funny because he always goes around talking like him in a low growly voice. He always wants to be the Decepticon when his and Griff play Transformers and Megatron is his favorite.
Sis liked playing with ribbon and trying to rip open her presents and she liked to play her new toys. She kept watching her brothers go crazy opening presents.
The boys have enjoyed all their new toys/gifts. Each day they have a new favorite one. One day they played all day with their Nerf Guns. The next they spent all day playing in their new tent. The next day it was Transformers and the next Bat Man and Iron Man and so on.
Griffin got this Spider Man toy. From the box it looked like it went on his arm and sprayed string (like Spider Mans web) well it was string but it was silly string.
His first try was in the house and poor sis was in the line of fire.
Our OH SO YUMMY Christmas turkey dinner (did I say YUMMY)
Each year my kids get an ornament on top of their presents. It is a tradition Loyette's mom did for her and her children and now she does it for her grand children. It's special and they like having their own ornaments to put on the tree each year. They will have quite the collection when they are older .
I was excited for my parents presents this year. I spent a long time making them so it was extra special. I will post pictures later of my 2 projects.
Later that night we went to Bryan's parents house to visit and play games. We played a really fun game called "would you rather" During one of the challenges Bry had to drink from a bowl like a cat.
Lucky me... I got to be the one to have my face drawn on my Bryan during one of the games (he was more than happy to do it)
A sweet picture of Karalyn and Grandpa Bernard.

I love that game, we haven't played it for ever. I love the pic of John and Jess with the phones. What would we do without those things.
