Bry and I took the kids up to Joe's valley a couple of times lately. We wanted to still enjoy the summer before is it totally gone. Although the water was a little cold, we still had a wonderful time with each other. Bry and I talked about how we love that we can take just a short drive and be in such a nice, beautiful and relaxing place. We rode the wave runner, threw rocks in the water and just enjoyed being together as a family. The first night we came home and grilled hamburgers and the second night we stayed up a cooked hot dogs.

Gavin asked me what was on my head and I told him a bandana and then he wanted to wear it. (Gotta love the Doritos face)
Griffin was excited to grill hamburgers with his dad. This was his 2nd hamburger... as you can tell from his face he REALLY liked them.

I love that last pic... so pretty! That is one thing that Dj and I don't like about the city, we aren't really close to stuff like mountains/lakes..we have to drive a bit to do anything like that. So glad you can do that as a family.
