This was the picture Griff wanted before we headed to school. His first day was on Sept 11th so we had a flag in our yard and Griff said "I want my picture by the flag mom, that will be cool."
The day before school started, Griffin's teacher had an open house. This school year's theme is 'Treasured tots at Treasure Island'
She had a treasure hunt where he went around the room and found the different sea creatures and learned about different places in the school. Then he got to color the pictures of the things he found and when he was done, there were Hawaiian treats and he got to make a Hawaiian leis (necklace)
Griff learned how to write his name this summer and he was excited to show me his name where he hangs his back pack, where he puts his papers and his teacher even had their names in chalk on the sidewalk which Griff liked.
concentrating on making his necklace
Sandra has all their pictures hanging from the celling and the whole room decorated in a Hawaiian theme... it's too cute!!
Griffin with his teacher Miss Sandra
Miss Sandra said to make sure you see the kitty's outside before you go home and Griff was thrilled... he wanted to take this one home.

I just LOVE your kids...all so cute and fun! We sure love to come and see you guys and I know Maddie loves to play with your kids.
They are growing way to fast. Little Kara is so sweet. I love their little noises.
That makes me miss school! It looks like good times. I can't believe he is growing up so fast!
I cant believe that Griffin is already in PreSchool.Isnt it crazy how fast our kids are growing up? I dont like it one bit. It is fun however to experience all of these new things with them.
