An E.R. vist

Griffin is my knife and fire boy. He is so fascinated by them (which scares me to death) Whenever he is at the checkout counter, he tries to slip a lighter into his pocket so I have to watch him extra close, and if he ever finds one around the house, he hides it to play with later. (I find them hidden in "secret" places. The same goes for pocket knifes. I think Bryan only has 50 or so (not kidding) and we have always kept them away and up high which lately is not good enough. Griffin found one the other day and though he has been told SO many times not to ever play with knifes because they will hurt him, he did anyway. He came to me screaming and bleeding the other day. I am one that is NOT GOOD with those situations. I see blood and just get sick to my stomach and have all sorts of anxiety about the situation. Luckily it was the time of day Bryan gets home from work so he was there just shortly after it happened. Bryan took care of Griffin and the wound and we thought that we probably needed stitches so we headed to the emergency room. After the doctored examined his cut, he said he did not need stitches so lucky for us we get to pay an e.r. fee for soaking and superglue.... nice!! We are just glad that Griffin was ok and there was no permanent damage.
Griff showing us his hurt finger and waiting so brave for the doctor.
Griff didn't think this expereince was too bad (which is probably NOT a good thing) He got a sucker and glove to play with and a lot of attention.
The doctor examining Griffin's finger and Gavin very interested.

I hope Griffin is okay. I think little boys have no fear and are not afraid of anything. I would be surprise if mine make it until their eight years old.
