*Nielson Family Party*
We have a tradition with my Nielson family of having our Christmas party together every year on Christmas Eve. Since we have grown so much, the place where we meet changes, but the wonderful family relationships never do. We do a Nativity program each year. My grandma put together a program with some scriptures and songs and she made some great costumes. I remember when I played the part of an Angle or Mary when I was very little. Through the years it has been past down to the younger generations and now the great-grand children have the opportunity to do it. It's a little disordered since the oldest great-grand child is 10 and some of them don't quite understand yet, but it still makes a wonderful fun family tradition.
*Bernard Christmas Party*
The Bernard Christmas party was held at Chris and Ashlie's house this year. They made a yummy ham and potato dinner, we exchanged presents and played a game. The game was really fun. There was a present wrap a half dozen times and in multiple boxes. When you rolled a six you got a chance to open the present and the first person to open it, got the present. Only one catch... we had to wear huge gloves and use a plastic fork and spoon. It was good for lots of laughs.
The kids love Uncle Joey.
My husband Bry is a tease. He was to give a $5 gift to Ashlie and he put her favorite soda in a pyramid covered with duct tape.
Gavin with Grandma Bernard
My Holdaway Christmas party is always filled with music and laughs. Most all of my cousins have amazing musical talents or voices. Our programs are always filled with lots of music. We still have the party in my Grandma Holdaway's house in Price. It's a little squishy, but it's great to be all together.
When Gavin opened his present, he tore a little piece off at a time and would hand it to me and say "garbage."

Griffin got in the boxing ring with his cousin Dylan. He had been watching his older cousins box and thought it looked fun and wanted to be next. I love that he is not afraid to try new things. He had so much fun!!
Both Griffin and Dylan would start at the other end of the room and just run into and pile drive each other. They just laughed and thought that was so fun.
My friends from work, Jamie, Pauline, Ellen and Cheree. We get together every December and go to dinner and exchange gifts. It has been a fun tradition and I really enjoy their company.
I forgot to take my camera to two Christmas parties (They were both earlier in the month and I think I was still in denial it was December) My pharmacy Christmas party and Bryan's Fire Department Christmas party. I did not want to leave them out on all the wonderful happening of them month- they too were both very much enjoyed!!
*HOLDAWAY CHRISTMAS*
Griffin opened a present that was a book about building. He said "mom look at my book to build a garage"
