Easter 2011 in a nutshell

I love Easter... it may be my favorite holiday. I love springtime, hard bolied eggs, I love going on the desert and riding fourwheelers, spending time with family and gotta love those robin eggs (yummy) 

  This Easter was a little different but still fun. The weather was on and off. It was sunshine one minute and snowing the next. My parents and my brothers family were not taking their trailers out and so we decided to just go out for the day. We roasted hotdogs and rolled our easter eggs down the hill.

Also we had sick kids the entire weekend. We thought it might have been food poisoning but my bet is they had a bug.

 I was a room mother for Griffin's kindergarton class. I sure enjoyed helping out and being there with him for his holiday parties!

 Griff has been telling me about this kid Oakley. I bet he has talked about him for the past few months. Well when I get to the Easter party, there is this girl he was always with and I asked him what her name was and he said.... OAKLEY. Oh dear.... so it starts :)

 Each year we go to Cheddar park in Castle Dale for an egg hunt and to see the easter bunny. Sis waved at him but the second he tried to walk over to her she ran away.

 My monkey Gavin. His first time on monkey bars and he made it all the way across them.

 Sis so stylish in her glasses she found during the easter egg hunt.

 Eggs were always fun to do with the kids, I never had a problem with spilling the dye UNTIL this year when we added Karalyn to the picture. I had to use a lot of patience this year and I think we colored our eggs in record time.

Gavo was sick at this point... poor kid, so he did not want to color eggs but Griff sure enjoyed it.
