It was a big day at the Bernard house when Griffin lost his first tooth. It actually had been loose for 3 weeks and we told Griffin all about how we lost our teeth too when we were little and that big teeth grow back in. Of course we also told him all about the tooth fairy too. He said that he did not want the tooth fairy to take his tooth, that he wanted to keep it forever. At first we said ok, but that maybe he would want to write her a note so that he could stick it under his pillow and get some money but keep the tooth too. He said "I think we should write her a note and say no no you can't sneak into our house" I thought he might change his mind once he lost his tooth (especially because he is saving up money for skies). I told him she was like Tinkerbell, just little and nice but that night I told him the same thing about writing a note and he said "actually I don't even want her in our house"
I remember when I was little, I was SOOO scared of the Easter bunny and Santa Claus.
Seriously... who wants a GIANT rabbit running around their house hiding eggs and who wants a big fat guy coming into your room to check if you are to sleep???? I guess Griffin has a little bit of me in him.

Wow! Growing up so FAST!!! I loved reading your updates & seeing your pictures! Only 9 days! Hope everything goes super well! I can't wait to see your new little person! It would be fun to get together with our 3 new babies! It's funny that last June we were just talking about when we were all going to have our next one... within the year I guess is the answer! Sure LOVE ya!!!
Ha! That is hilarious!!! Who would've guessed kids could be scared of a tooth fairy. Ours is actually not very scary since she frequently forgets to show up when expected. (my bad)
