Seriously... I am naming this post August. We have done so much in the past 2 months, that I did not know where to start. I would have 22 posts if I did not just put them all together in 1 or 2. So ya... the next post will probably be name July.
Emery County fair days starts in August and I LOVE fair days. Navajo tacos, carmel apples, games for the kids, fun booths to spend money... good times. I only took 2 pictures during the whole fair.
This one is of Griffin catching a ping pong ball they dropped from an airplane over the swimming pool park. I had to work and so Bryan took the kids. He said with all the big kids he did not think Griff was going to get one, but sure enough he did and by the look on his face you can tell he was SO excited!!
I entered sis in a baby contest. She looked so cute in her lady bug outfit with matching bracelet and bow. She one 2nd in "baby you can dance" and she even won 2nd in a contest she didn't even enter (ha ha)
My good friend Lorie and I took our kids to see the Castle Valley pageant. I met some of my family up there too. We went early to participate in all the fun activities they had before the pageant started.
The kids each got a pioneer ring.
The got to feed and sit on this donkey.
Going for a horse and buggy ride.
In the tee pee. My boys were so concerned about the animal furs. During the pageant when the two men were riding up to the tee pee Griffin asked me "is that who killed those animals"
I tried to explain to him the best I could that is how pioneers kept warm.
Gracie, Gavin, Griffin & Hanna!!
Our Holdaway family reunion was in August. We only got to go up one night but it was great to see my aunts, uncle and cousins and eat a yummy dinner and make smores!
A big hit at the reunion was finding worms.
Cousin Kristi showed them how to find worms and now Griffin and Gavin just LOVE her and every time they see her they say "that is our worm friend"
I sure love my little family!!
Bryan's work had a summer party at Lagoon this summer. I was worried about taking 3 kids, being pregnant and walking around all day in the hot sun, but it turned out SO fun. It was a beautiful cloudy/breezy day and I felt good and just seeing how much fun my kids were having was GREAT!!
Griff took charge with the map and would tell us where to go!!
Griff was tall enough to go on almost every ride. Bryan took him on a lot of big rides and he LOVED it!! On some of the rides he would say "I don't know about this one" and then when it was over "lets do that again"
Sis got to ride a few of the little rides with Griffin. Such priceless smiles on their faces.
Karalyn liked the Merry-go-round!
It took Gavin an hour or so before he decided he wanted to ride the rides. Once he did he was hooked too. I got to take him on a few rides and we had a good time together.
It was SOOO cute watching my kids trying to play this game. Of course they did not get many balls up in the target zone and so the balls would come back down to them... they got to play for a really long time.
The whole family got to go on the ferris wheel together. Thy boys were in "wow" and kept saying "look how big we are"
What a FUN FUN day!!! Thanks Nielson Construction for taking us!!!
A BIG DEAL in August... Gavin is now potty trained!!! YEAH!! He got this bike as a reward for no accidents!!!

I'm glad your kids are starting to remember me - even if it as "the worm friend." It has been fun getting to know your kids a little better this summer! Hope to keep it up.
