Day 2 we took a short drive to Grapevine Texas and boarded a train that took a 90 minute ride to the stockyards. Again my boys were SO EXCITED. Their 2 favorite tv shows right now are Chuggington and Dinosaur Train.
As soon as we were on the train they both started asking "where is the conductor" and "do we get our ticket punched" We did not know the answers, but shortly after the train took off he came by and my boys thought that was neat.
You could spend DAYS at the Stockyards... we only had 2 hours before the train took us back so we enjoyed the time we had and walked the streets and looked at the different shops and places to see.
This is one of my favorite pictures. We wanted to get the boys some souvenir cowboy hats but they were not interested.... they wanted....

This clown was making balloon animals for all the kids. He made Griffin and Gavin both a hat and sword.

Twice a day they have a parade of the longhorns.

On the way back they had some fun games to keep the passengers entertained. We had the toilet paper Olympics, and a balloon game.
Aunt Cassi took Griffin on a walk through the different passenger cars and to the very back to look out the back door of our moving train.
My boys had tons of questions for the conductor. "Where do you live" "Do you drive the train" They thought it was pretty cool that he came to talk to them.
What a fun ride!!!
