We had a wonderful Halloween. We spent the morning trick or treating in Huntington at our aunts & uncles, cousins and grandparents houses. We brought the kids home to nap and I made some yummy carmel apples. Then we went to our friends the Clarks house for chili and corn bread. Griffin went trick or treating around the neighborhood with their older kids. He was excited to go with them. When he came back he said "where to now" and was ready to take off to another neighborhood for candy. We took the kids to a few more friends and families houses and then came back to answer the door for our own trick or treaters and watch the Yankees game. I think Griff and Gav enjoyed passing out candy almost as much as getting it. If you came to our house you were pretty lucky because they gave 2 handfuls to everyone... at least until I told them only to give out 2 to each person or else we would not have enough. Oh and the Yankees WON!!!
Griffin was Batman!!
Our motorcycle dude or as Gavin said "bad motorcycle guy"
Our little lady bug!! She liked her costume and enjoyed chewing on her antennas
This rock is now outside the Emery High School and it is always painted different. The boys pointed out one day that the "high school rock is a pumpkin" so last night after trick or treating, we went and took a picture by it. Griff said "Batman should climb on top, that is what he does." and Gav said "This is a big big rock mom, bigger than you"
Griff's preschool class had a Halloween parade from the Orangeville library to the post office. The kids wore their costumes and got to walk proudly down the street waving at passing cars and family and friends watching.
Griffin's preschool class all dressed up for Halloween!!
